Sculptra in Tampa

Voted Best for Sculptra Collagen Injections in Tampa & Westchase
After age 25, each year we lose about 1% of our collagen which is the protein that provides structure to our skin. In addition, there is also a gradual loss of elasticity, bone, and muscle. With these losses in mass, the excess skin begins to envelop the face and cause wrinkles and sagging skin. One treatment option to help address these issues is called Sculptra.
Sculptra is a type of injectable that helps to replace lost collagen and providing structural support for the skin. It can mimic that lost bone & fat and can make you look 10-20 years younger. This can be used to treat larger areas of volume loss with much less product than other fillers.
Our Sculptra Packages include:

Sculptra Face
Sculptra Aesthetic activates the skins regenerative process to produce more collagen to restore facial volume, which decreases as we age. Sculptra causes collagen creation, literally acting like a seed to regrow collagen. There is no other product on the market with this stability.

Sculptra BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift)
This non-surgical butt lift is a collagen-stimulating treatment that helps with volume loss, cellulite, and hip dip. This is an extremely popular and safe buttock enhancement with minimal downtime. Recommend 1-3 sessions spaced 6 weeks apart. 6-10 vials are used per session. The number of vials and sessions vary depending on goals. Must have a consultation with approval from one of our injectors prior to booking this appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is composed of the natural sugar, poly-L-lactic acid, which is a tissue tightening and sculpting compound. It is one of the few FDA-approved injectable biologic treatments that address the structure, not just the surface. Injections are placed around the periphery or frame of the patient’s face and over time will pull back the patient’s skin. It can be used to redefine and resculpt the face.
What are the benefits?
Sculptra produces volume restoration and smoothness for hollowing areas of the face and body including:
- Temples
- Jawline
- Cheeks
- Area in front of ears
- Smile or Marionette lines
- Butt area to create a Brazillian Butt Lift
- Other areas that are too large for traditional filler
How does it work?
Sculptra is a collagen stimulator rather than a filler. Unlike hyaluronic fillers which work by adding volume to the tissue instantly, Sculptra works gradually. Over time, it increases facial volume by stimulating your skin to produce its own collagen.
First, it causes local swelling (edema) and gradually causes the body’s natural collagen to replace lost volume and support of the skin. The effect is a gradual softening of wrinkles and lines.

Who is a candidate?
No matter your stage in life, you can grow collagen at any age so that is not a factor. However, not everyone ages the same. Some tend to deflate and lose volume all over. Other’s sag and descend, while yet others wrinkle deeply. In addition, people with very long, thin faces often suffer from atrophy as they age. This lack of facial fat tends to show age and volume loss more than someone who carries more weight. If volume loss is your main issue, you would likely benefit from Sculptra injections.
Who is not an ideal candidate?
Sculptra is not for everyone. If you are preparing your appearance for an upcoming event, this is not the procedure for you. It takes several weeks to months to produce the full results.
Since results are very natural, it would also not be right for someone that is looking for a sharp and defined look.
How many treatments will I need?
While results vary, one treatment provides a noticeable improvement over a period of time. Two to four treatments spaced 6 weeks apart would be required to achieve optimal results. On average, you would need approximately one vial of Sculptra per decade of your life. For example, a 50-year-old would likely need 5 vials.
How long does Sculptra last?
Sculptra continues to stimulate collagen for about twelve months. It has around a 2-3 year span of permanence, but how long it lasts depends on a number of factors including the individual’s bone and collagen loss. In some people, results can last 5-7 years.
What side effects can I expect?
There is no downtime with Sculptra. After your session, your face or body area will look full with the water it’s suspended in. After 24 hours, all the water will dissipate but the product will remain. It takes about 8-10 weeks to show results with the best results seen in about months 4 or 5.
The most important step is after-care. For best results, the patient must massage the treatment areas firmly but gently for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days. Since the body produces collagen at different speeds in different areas, massage can break up the fibers and spread them out more evenly. Massage also likely stimulates more collagen, giving you better results.
